The Belair Lip Bombs are an Australian indie rock band formed in Frankston, Victoria in 2017. The group consists of lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Maisie Everett, guitarist Mike Bradvica, bassist Jimmy Droughton and drummer Daniel Devlin. They have released two extended plays and issued their debut studio album, Lush Life, in August 2023. After becoming the first Australian act to sign with Third Man Records, they released their second album, Again, in October 2025.

Welcome to Ceramics! In this beginning to intermediate class, adult and teen students are invited to learn or expand on the foundations of working with clay. Students can expect demonstrations to support learning methods in pottery wheel throwing (centering, pulling, and vessel formation) and hand-building (pinch, coil, slab formation). After demonstrations, students may work freely on their own projects with instructor support. Additional instruction will be woven into lessons to build knowledge in the areas of surface techniques, function, design, and expression. While projects can very, practice and repetition in an instructor led environment are powerful tools for progressing. Students are highly encouraged to support each other and communicate with instructors their course related questions, needs, and curiosities! We will work through the subjects of STILL LIFE, LANDSCAPE, and PORTRAITURE. We will work from observation and original reference so that you can take full ownership of the images that you paint. At the completion of this course, students will be able to mix a broad range of colors from a smaller spectral range of color, understand value and its importance to the success of the painting, understand the variety of plane edges that describe light and spatial relationships, determine strong compositional arrangements, interpret observed set ups into good compositional structure on a 2-D surface, use best practices for using and maintaining painting equipment, and feel confident in creating successful paintings.
