Johnathan Aubrey and his wife love being involved with helping children. They are licensed foster care providers. Johnathan is no stranger to obstacles and challenges. Not only was he born with cerebral palsy, he was also in Resource and Special Ed in elementary school. Despite these and other challenges, Johnathan attended Weber State University and was able to graduate with a dual bachelor's degree in economics and English in four years. He has worked as a real estate agent in Utah since 2008, but gets the most joy reading his book "Am I Different?" and sharing a message of winning despite all obstacles at school assemblies and other functions. Jonathan will be telling his story, answering questions for both grown-ups and kids, and signing copies of his picture book, Am I Different, at The Printed Garden from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on National Disability Independence Day, July 26th - the day that commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26th, 1990. This event is free and open to the public. There might even be cookies!
