A day full of art highlighting artists based in Glendale and neighboring communities and seek to promote the hard work of our partner organizations and those participating arts organizations that engage our community members.

EASY YOGA W/GLOW SPA
Start your day with some easy yoga on the grass, then enjoy all of our arts programming at this community art event!
9:00-9:45am
ARTIST RUN CLUB - MURAL RUN
Take an easy 3-mile jog down the 9-Line to check out Glendale’s latest art murals. This local running club combines running and art weekly. Here is the run schedule:
- 10:50am Meet at the entrance to the Peace Gardens (just inside the main gates)
- 11:00am Start Run
- Noon or so - Return to Art @ the Gardens, grab a bite and check out all that Art @ the Gardens has to offer!
Suggested attire: Shorts, t-shirts, road shoes, and a hand held water bottle is highly recommended as it could be warm!
OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM w/Salt Lake City Arts Council
Meet Matthew Mazzotta, the artist creating a large public art installation for the new Glendale Regional Park. A key aspect of his process is the Outdoor Living Room, a temporary public gathering space designed to capture community voices.

MAKING WAVES - Celebrate the Species
Try on giant puppets, learn a song, take part in a puppet parade, and perform your song on our Main Stage.
2:30-4:00pm
MICRO MOVIE THEATRE
Climb into a 10x10 mini movie theater to watch short films - animated, fiction, non-fiction, abstract, adventure, dance - by Utah filmmakers. Films provided by Utah Film Center's Artist Foundry and SpyHop Youth Media.

University of Utah's "ART IN THE COMMUNITY" Class
Make a peace passport and craft art that connects you to your community, nature and creativity! You’ll get to make a cyanotype, try relief printing, make a button and participate in an interactive art performance connected to the Jordan River.
