Five nights of jazz under the summer stars at Gallivan Center. Come indulge all your senses with incredible live jazz, swing dancing, food trucks, art vendors, and more. This is a Hot House West classic. On July 10th, we’re teaming up with our friends at Trash Moon Collective for a midsummer dance extravaganza that’s equal parts hoedown and throwdown. The night kicks off with a Trash Moon square dance — expect energetic callers, live music, and the kind of do-si-do chaos that turns strangers into friends in about thirty seconds. Then Salt City Swing takes the reins for a swing dance lesson before the Hot House West Swing Orchestra closes the night with a full dance set under the stars. Be prepared for shenanigans, hooting AND hollering. No dance experience required — just a willingness to move, laugh, and let loose.

Joy in Rhythm goes full western swing on July 23rd. This is the night where cowboy boots meet the dance floor and the music swings from both sides of the country-jazz divide. The Western Stars open the evening with their irresistible blend of western swing, honky-tonk, and vintage country. Pedal steel, fiddle, and vocals that make you want to grab a partner and two-step until the sun goes down. Then the Hot House West Swing Orchestra takes the stage and keeps the western swing energy rolling — blending big band arrangements with western swing standards for a dance set that feels like a Saturday night in a better timeline. Whether you’re a two-stepper, a Lindy Hopper, or someone who just wants to sway, Western Swing Night has a place for you.
