Warm Connections at Warm Springs- Experiments in creating community with art, music, healing & food

https://www.warmspringsalliance.org/warmconnections/ We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, August 3rd for the first of many special events where we’ll experiment with creating true community at Warm Springs. Together, we'll continue our journey to bring back the hot spring and revitalize the place into a vibrant gathering place again, because it truly takes a village… to make a village! The happiness and health of our community depends on more in-person connections where we can be curious about different perspectives and engage with our neighbors in ways that feel warm and open-hearted. We’re excited to give you a warm welcome as we bring together art, music, healing practices, and a shared meal to create meaningful community experiences together. "

Survivors at the Summit

Join SURVIVORS at the SUMMIT for a day in the mountains to honor and support cancer survivors. Proceeds benefit Survivor Wellness, a cancer care community in the heart of the city, providing free and reduced cost cancer wellness and integrative health care services and support in two welcoming homes since 1997. "This place heals the things the doctors cannot." Survivors at the Summit started over 25 years ago as a challenging, multi-day summit of King's Peak to fly Tribute Flags to encourage, honor, and remember those impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Since that awe-inspiring beginning, over 5000 cancer survivors, caregivers, clinical staff, and community members have summited each year to honor the remarkable people impacted by cancer across the Wasatch Front and beyond. REGISTRATION: https://survivors-at-the-summit-2024.eventbrite.com/ Registration is $10 and covers admission, the Celebration of Life, live music and family-friendly activities in the mountains at Brighton Resort. Breakfast and lunch can be reserved as add ons at no extra charge.
