Millcreek Summer Jam Concerts are back, and this year will be continuing June into August! This summer, enjoy a diverse lineup of musicians as concerts return to the shaded open-air amphitheater in Canyon Rim Park at 3100 S 2900 E. Join the Millcreek Arts Council for melodious performances every Monday evening beginning at 7:00pm. Millcreek Summer Jam concerts are free, open to the public, and family friendly. Kelly’s homegrown and gutsy voice is peppered with a bluesy edge, and although she’s a West Coast girl, her Okie lineage echoes through every note she sings. This is the essence of her unique sound Salt Lake City locals Steve Lewis and Lou Vee have joined forces to create Good Lews, a satisfying acoustic blues experience, blending their unique styles and decades of experience, the duo have created a sound that pays homage to the roots of the blues while adding a modern twist that is sure to please listeners.

Recognized as "a must-see act in the bluegrass scene" by the Daily Herald, Beck Brothers delivers a dynamic blend of traditional bluegrass and folk with a fresh, modern twist. Featuring multiple state instrument champions, the band captivates audiences nationwide with their high-energy performances and technical mastery. Doug Wintch’s blend of solid guitar work and honest organic songwriting have made him a popular fixture on the Salt Lake City music scene even before he released “Wooden Nickels” in 2003. His latest project, SLiCk City5, is comprised of an all-star band of rootsy musicians guaranteed to win over any audience

Please visit www.millcreekartscouncil.org for more The Red Rock Hot Club has been supplying the Intermountain West with Django Reinhardt style Jazz since 1999. Currently led by the hard swinging guitar of Pat Terry, the group specializes in “Gypsy Jazz” a European take of an American Art form. Guitar genius, Django, and violinist Stephane Grappelli formed the original Hot Club of France in 1937, and subsequently created an entirely new Jazz genre by incorporating swing rhythms and mimicking the sounds of Louis Armstrong’s horn on their instruments. MV Caldera is a Venezuelan songwriter, musician and producer, x2 Latin Grammy Nominee, and x5 Pepsi music awards nominee. She holds degrees in music from Cecilio Acosta University located in Maracaibo, Venezuela and the University of Edinburgh, She has also been a sound engineer and vocal coach in New York City since 2013. Her yearning to show the audience her talent pushes her to give it a try in a famous Venezuelan reality show called "Camino a la fama" where she got second place. In all of her trajectory as a singer-songwriter she has shared the stage and recording with artists such as: Christina Aguilera, Diana Ross, Marc Anthony, Ruben Blades, Juan Gabriel, Gypsy Kings, Brenda K Star and many others.



Westside CultureFest

Salt Lake County Arts & Culture presents Westside CultureFest August 15-16, 5-10pm Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center Free to attend Westside CultureFest is a free two-day festival celebration of arts and community showcasing the creative heartbeat of the West Side through over 30 performances on-stage and outdoors at Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center. Also features an artist market featuring local artists and craftspeople, food trucks, a bar area for adults, art activities for kids, and incredible experiences for all ages.
