HawkWatch International invites you to Wings Across the West on Friday, April 24, 2020, at the Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City!

Join us for a glorious spring evening with your fellow raptor enthusiasts. Bid on unique art, life changing experiences, and the rare and wonderful items on our silent auction table. After feasting on a sumptuous meal, you will learn about the conservation challenges, and solutions, for Africa's magnificent eagles from Dr. Megan Murgatroyd.

HLAA 2020 Walk4Hearing

The HLAA Walk4Hearing is coming to Salt Lake City! These events are nationwide and create awareness about hearing loss prevention, screening, treatment & maintain good hearing health. The walk will be held Saturday, May 16th at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City in the Big Field Pavilion. Registration will begin at 9 AM with the walk starting at 10 AM. Aside from the walk, there will be entertainment, activities for children, food trucks, live music, and resources for those with hearing loss. Range 2 River Relay

Bike, boat, and run from the Wasatch Range to the Jordan River! The Range 2 River Relay [https://sevencanyonstrust.org/events/relay] is light on competition and heavy on fun! For those looking to build friendships and have family-friendly fun, join the Team Heat! The first Teammate will bike 3.6 miles along City Creek, the second teammate will boat 3.3 miles of the Jordan River, and the final teammate will run 3.4 miles of the Jordan River Trail. For those looking to test their active transportation and outdoor recreation abilities, try the Individual Heat! Individuals are invited to participate in the outlined course as a triathlon.

6th Annual Utah Blues Festival

This is the 6th Anniversary of the Utah Blues Festival, sponsored in part by KRCL. We are so excited to continue our expanded festival schedule in 2020!

This year the festival takes place on Friday, June 12th (5-10pm) and Saturday, June 13th (Noon – 10pm).

Sugaray Rayford (Friday) and Ruthie Foster (Saturday) will be our headliners, with some of the best blues acts in the world playing before them. We will again offer Free Workshops, the best Food Trucks in Utah, Artist Vendors, Non-Profit Vendors, and fine libations from Utah’s own. This is a family friendly festival and kids 12 and under, as always, are FREE. Various ticketing options are available here, and our always sold-out Blues Club / VIP area will be better than ever!

Water Trivia

Test your Wasatch water knowledge with the Seven Canyons Trust and Squatters Brewing at Water Trivia.  Water Trivia combines water-themed education with fun, friendly competition for a watershed cause. Teams of four test their Wasatch water knowledge against competitors in ten trivia questions and a final wager on topics ranging from global water systems to local hydrology, whilst enjoying local micro-brews and free appetizers – fermented from the waters of the seven canyon creeks of Utah’s Wasatch Range – courtesy of Squatters Brewing: https://www.squatters.com/.
