Each day, you’ll work from the figure in either drawing or painting, guided by professional artists who have taught at several universities. With daily, in-depth critiques, you’ll sharpen your skills, gain personal direction, and learn to create with confidence and intention. By the end of the program, you’ll walk away with impressive, portfolio-ready artwork, stronger technique, and the momentum to pursue college art programs or excel in any creative field. In this camp, students will discover tips and techniques to help transform their ideas into vibrant, one-of-a-kind digital artworks they can even print and share. Throughout the week, students will learn how to create complex illustrations by combining traditional and digital media. They will also have the chance to practice designing more elaborate animated images. Camp projects will include illustrating an original t-shirt design, learning to mix media by layering hand-made textures in digital collage, and adding elements of movement to complex illustrations.
