Let’s take our digital skills to the next level and combine media to create artwork that’s truly one-of-a-kind! Procreate is a powerful yet playful digital art app for iPad that expands opportunities for illustration, animation, and creative collage. In this camp, students will discover tips and techniques to help transform their ideas into vibrant, one-of-a-kind digital artworks they can even print and share. Throughout the week, students will learn how to create complex illustrations by combining traditional and digital media. They will also have the chance to practice designing more elaborate animated images. Camp projects will include illustrating an original t-shirt design, learning to mix media by layering hand-made textures in digital collage, and adding elements of movement to complex illustrations. The creative possibilities for Procreate artists are endless! Visual Art Institute has iPads and Apple Pencils available for student use during camp days.
