Suzanne Ruhlman, Suzanne Ruhlman, museum store manager, helped conceptualize the Indigenous Art Market more than 10 years ago and has championed the market into the success it is today. Ruhlman has helped grow the market to feature 45 artists from around the country. 

  • EVENT: October 12-13 at 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Annual Indigenous Art Market at the Natural History Museum of Utah. "The market is included with museum admission, and all proceeds from sales stay with the artists. The market also features artist talks, dance performances, an ethnography collections showcase, and food vendors."

Japantown advocates, Former Utah State Senator, Jani Iwamoto and community organizer, Trey Imamura, of Salt Lake City Next Generation Japanese Americans about recent updates.

October 10 is World Mental Health Day, according the United Nations, "The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.

The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide."
