Homegrown music: St. Moan

  • St. Moan is the solo music project of actor and multimedia artist Ava Kostia. Her debut EP "Water for the Moon" will be available on Bandcamp.

  • Mar 28: Millcreek Doxie Derby | Gates at 2 PM, races at 4 PM @ Millcreek Common, 1354 E Chambers Ave, Millcreek. City Councilman Thom DeSirant expects thousands to attend what is billed as the third-largest such race in North America. Spectator tickets: $5/person, kids 2 and under are free.

Voices of Utah: Local Arts & Culture

RadioACTive continues its collaboration with rising journalists of the University of Utah and Amplify Utah. This semester, Voices of Utah students are exploring and reporting on arts and culture in the Beehive State. Tonight:

  • Reporter Valentino Pichardo introduces us to Emily Utt of Art Castle SLC, which is located in the historic 15th Ward Chapel on SLC's west side. 

  • Reporter Alina Walker brings us three public art installations and a conversation with Amy Childress, public art program coordinator for the Salt Lake City Arts Council.
