  • Director Alexis Spraic of The World According to Allee Willis. Songwriter/artist Allee Willis, best known for writing the “Friends” theme song, the Earth Wind & Fire mega-hit “September” and “The Color Purple” musical, began filming her life as a kid in 1950s Detroit and never stopped.

SLC Mayor Erin Mendenhall on new Ballpark site designs. Earlier today, 3 options were presented to the Redevelopment Agency of SLC. Only one largely keeps the stadium, another removes it entirely, while a third is an adaptive reuse that removes much of the stadium seating.

  • BONUS: Mendenhall said she wrapped up negotiations with the Miller Family earlier today, and she agreed to name the first-ever SLC Poet Laureate.
