‘Mornings on KRCL’ will be hosted by five familiar favorites. Hear Shannalee on Mondays, Matt Lovejoy joins Tuesday mornings, Eric P. Nelson hosts Wednesdays, Courtney Blair takes over Thursdays, and Ma Black leads Fridays. Morning listeners will still hear the same great mix of music and diverse artists they've come to expect each weekday, including the popular feature “These Three Songs” at 7:20am. The new lineup will blend in their own unique personalities and special highlights each weekday morning from 7am-10am.
Tune in Nomad Radio the progression of all things rock. From the early 2000s, when punk became more melodic (Death by Stereo, 1208), two step hardcore blended with more punk influences (Comeback Kid, Stick to Your Guns), indie/alternative bands were popping up like wild flowers (Kevin Devine, Manchester Orchestra), metalcore/screamo became a thing (Scary kids scaring kids, Tides of Man) and more progressive/experimental rock bands began taking stage including Thrice, La Dispute, OBrother, No knife and more. You’ll get a little of everything rock from heavy ballads to atmospheric gems. Each song will take you on a journey. Things will evolve on the show since we are nomads and wanderers just along for the ride.
This show is a vibrant platform curated by a rotating cast of Loud and Clear Youth Radio graduates, each with their own unique flair and passion for music. Our team is dedicated to unearthing fresh sounds and budding artists across genres in our communities.
On Thursday Night Psych explore the evolution and expansion of Psychedelic music. It's a big ol paisley umbrella that fits a lot of different styles and bands. Tune in and prepare to have your mind blown maaaan!
Shining a light on women in music. You'll hear a mix of generes, styles and ereas from women musicians and femme voices. For women who rock and those who love them.
