Punk Rock Farmer visits 3 farms for Living Soils Field Day. Soap plays live. Plus, New American Goat Club and Skywatcher Leo T.

Tonight's Punk Rock Farmer Friday edition of RadioACTive features the following people, organizations and/or events. Check them out and get plugged into your community! 

Fresh, homegrown music from Soap, featuring Quinn Shumway, one of KRCL's summer interns. 

Talula Pontuti and Katie Wright of New American Goat Club, a summer program for refugee and immigrant youth who want to learn about goat husbandry in SLC.

  • Aug. 17: Roots Summer Fest and Livestock Show, 9a-1p at Roots, 1301 Cesar Chavez Dr., West Valley City. Event by Roots High School and : "Cheer on the New American Goat Club and Roots Charter High 4-H Clubs as they demonstrate their livestock husbandry and showmanship skills. All ages welcome. Plus Summerfest with activities, food, and a farm stand."

Last weekend, KRCL's Punk Rock Farmer met up with other farmers, gardeners, and soil experts to learn about healthy soil practices.
