Rachel Taylor of Friends of Monarchs Utah asks: "If anyone finds some eggs or caterpillars in the SLC area, I’m hoping to provide a couple of caterpillars to both the Decker Lake Youth Corrections Facility as well as the Mill Creek Youth Corrections Facility in Ogden. I’ve been working with these groups for six years now (growing milkweed to give away) and they would really like to experience watching the progress of the caterpillars as they grow and mature into an adult monarch." He also oversees the Green Phoenix Farm, a 1.4-acre urban farm in Salt Lake City that provides employment and mentorship for women facing homelessness.
