  • SEPTEMBER: Get to the River Festival is happening all month long across the 50-mile Jordan River Parkway. Times, dates and parking information for events from Utah Lake through 16 cities in Utah, Salt Lake, and Davis counties, and into the south shoreland areas of Great Salt Lake, are posted on the festival website.

  • Sept. 6: CureSearch Walk | 9 AM @ Big Field Pavilion, Sugar House Park 1330 E. 1200 S., SLC. Register to walk and raise money for pediatric cancer research.

A collaboration between the University of Utah, Amplify Utah, and KRCL 90.9fm in SLC, UT

  • Max Rhineerhost of The Daily Utah Chronicle’s Can of Worms Podcast, dives into the rich history of The Great Saltair. Outside of The Chrony, they also edit numerous podcasts for several clients. With all these podcasts, you’d never expect that Max is actually a film major!
  • Teetad Govitviwat, a news writer at The Daily Utah Chronicle, discusses a story he wrote on Utah’s gambling scene. Local fantasy sports betting enthusiast Clayton Smith gives his two cents on the subject.

  • Prodigal Press Editors Mabel Court and Luke Romney discuss the who, what and why behind the Provo-based underground media collective.
