Against that backdrop, show guests reflected on Juneteenth, talked about a new Utah law that would ultimately lead to the closure of cultural centers at institutions of higher education, and more. Sixty years ago today, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law the Civil Rights Act of 1964. RadioACTive's Roundtable Tuesday reflects on the past, present and future with the following community members:
House Bill 261, "Equal Opportunity Initiatives," went into effect yesterday. RadioACTive talks about public colleges, universities and schools that have closed their cultural centers, some of which had served marginalized populations for more than 40 years.
