Today marks World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. Kara Napolitano with the Denver-based nonprofit Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking says that while trafficking can take various forms, it consistently revolves around exploiting vulnerable individuals. Shared with us via Rocky Mountain Community Radio, a network of public media stations in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Utah, including KRCL. 

Reporters at The Salt Lake Tribune recently announced an effort to unionize, and Trib leadership subsequently and voluntarily recognized the Salt Lake News Guild. RadioACTive finds out what comes next with Robert Gehrke and Emily Anderson Stern, members of the guild's organizing committee.

Poetry Is Still Wanted Here. Utah Poet Rob Carney is back with several other poets to explore current events through their work. He even asked them to write poems specifically for the show. Tonight's lineup:
