Spy Hop Executive Director Kasandra VerBrugghen on the nonprofit's Silver Anniversary. Founded in 1999 as an alternative after-school tutoring program, Spy Hop served twelve students during its first year of operation. Today, they now serve over 18,000 students a year from more than 120 schools across the state, making it one of the largest and most diverse youth media organizations in the U.S.
April 25: 25th Anniversary Annual Benefit: Transmissions to the Future, 6:00-9:30 p.m. at Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. Broadway, SLC. "It’s Spy Hop’s Silver Anniversary! Event by South Salt Lake Arts Council: "Mural Talk is an 'ask me anything' open panel discussion with some of the 2024 Mural Fest artists.
