Tonight's homegrown music: Stranded at Home

Formed in 2015, Stranded at Home describes itself as "an emerging modern punk rock band from Provo, Utah, formed by a group of friends united by their passion for music." The band is Nathan DeBrine (vocalist, guitarist), Joshua Sanders (vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist), Devin Black (bassist, vocalist), and Jeremiah Jackson (drummer, vocalist).

  • Sept. 6: Rose Park Crop Swap | 10-12 PM @ Steenblik Park, 1050 W 800 N, SLC. Rose Park Community Council's Kathy Westbrook and Megan Lopez invite you over to swap crops and hang out.

  • Sept. 19-20: Green River Melon Days @ O.K. Anderson City Park, Green River, UT 84525. Green River's Robin Hunt talks about this 119-year-old festival that celebrates the area's melon growers.

Punk Rock Farmer Special: Toxic Shock Records and Sluggo Visit SLC

Tonight from 6-8 PM, Bill Sassenberger, founder of Toxic Shock Records, and Sluggo Cawley of Hullabaloo, one of the bands on the label, will be at Raunch Records in Sugar House to read and sign copies of their books. Aldine, KRCL's Punk Rock Farmer, and Liz Schulte of KRCL's Rude Awakening had the chance to talk with them earlier this week and we share that conversation tonight.
