What's Fresh with Taylor Kalander of the new Millcreek Farmers Market, which started this week at Millcreek Commons, 1330 E. Chambers Ave. Millcreek. Stop by every Wednesday, 5-8 PM, through Sept. 25 to buy locally and connect with farmers and producers.

  • VENDORS: Millcreek Farmers Market has day stalls available for seasonal crops. Contact Kim at kangeli@millcreekut.gov for more information.

An Indigenous-led food coalition in the Four Corners is giving locally grown produce to Native families. As KSUT and KSJD's Clark Adomaitis reports for Rocky Mountain Community Radio, this is part of an effort to address health inequity in the community.

  • This report was shared with us via Rocky Mountain Community Radio, a network of public media stations in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Utah, including KRCL.

Aldine's Urban Farm Report with James Skeet of  Spirit Farm, which is located on ancestral lands in the desert of New Mexico at the edge of the Navajo Nation. The farm was founded to reconnect the community back to the historical, spiritual and physical practices of caring for the Earth and growing nutrient-dense food.

  • James and Joyce Skeet are headed to Utah this summer and want to share their healthy soil practices, especially with Indigenous folks. To connect, email navajodesigns@msn.com. or visit the Spirit Farm FB page
