Apr 25: Arts @ The Gardens| 10A-4P @ International Peace Gardens, 1060 S 900 W. A FREE community art festival with interactive crafts, art vendors, dance and puppet performances, and nonprofit booths. Sarah Wolfe, chair of the Glendale Arts Committee, brings us the details.
Apr 30: UTAHGives Day, a 24-hour celebration of generosity where communities, businesses, and neighbors unite to uplift the causes that shape our state. More than 300+ nonprofits have signed up for the inaugural giving event created by the Utah NonProfits Association (UNA) to showcase and support the work of charitable organizations in Utah. Guest: Julie Chang, who is responsible for implementing UNA's advocacy and public policy strategy and overseeing all UNA training and events, including the UNA Credential Program.

SLCC has gone from being nationally recognized as an LGBTQ+ friendly campus to closing its Gender and Sexuality Student Resource Center (GSSRC) and seeing students protest the presence of the Department of Homeland Security on campus.
