Mondays are now RadioACTive Pop! with new community co-host Olivia Jaramillo. She brings her unique take on society through the mirror of pop culture. Plus, Rallies & Resources with cool people, places, and things. Check it all out and get plugged into your community!

Great Salt Lake Sailfest is coming up on June 15 at the Great Salt Lake Marina. RadioACTive gets a preview with Jake Dreyfous, Grow the Flow; Dennis Hartley and Steve Harty of the GSL Yacht Club; and Jeff Manwaring of Exclusive Excursions.

  • June 15: Great Salt Lake Sailfest, 10a-dusk, with main activities from 12-4pm at The Marina at Great Salt Lake, 13312 W 1075 S, Magna. Event by Grow the Flow: "After a five-year hiatus because of low lake levels, the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club and Grow the Flow are hosting a community event called Sailfest on June 15th. This free, day-long festival will include live music, booths, and a sailboat regatta to bring attention and resources to the race to restore Great Salt Lake. This event is appropriate for all ages, and we hope you invite your friends, family, and frenemies! A sailboat race and festival featuring free fun for all ages."

Utah Global Diplomacy hosted visiting fellows from Jordan over the last few weeks. UGD's Felecia Maxfield-Barrett stopped by with two—Dania Momani and Saif Na'amneh—to share their experiences in Utah.

  • June 21: Utah Global Leaders Coffee Hour, 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Utah Global Diplomacy, 151 E. 5600 S. Ste 206, SLC. "This free and caffeinated monthly gathering provides a supportive, inclusive space for nonprofit leaders to connect, work through business and nonprofit challenges, and identify opportunities."

Olivia Jaramillo debuts as a community co-host with her first RadioACTive Pop session, riffing on headlines of the day with Lara Jones. Connor Estes, and Marcie Young  Cancio, a journalism and digital media professor at the University of Utah and founder of media literacy nonprofit Amplify Utah.
