  • June 10: Salt Lake City leaders to raise new Sego Celebration flag at City Hall in early celebration of Juneteenth National Independence Day | Noon | Washington Square, East Flag Pole, 451 S 200 E, SLC. City leaders and community members expected to join the flag-raising event include SLC Mayor Erin Mendenhall, City Councilmember Alejandro Puy, Project Success Coalition/Ogden NAACP's Betty Sawyer, UoU AVP of Community Engagement Emma Houston, and Race Roots & Culture hosts Lonzo Liggins and Danor Gerald.
