Then we connect with Muna Omar local Utah leader and activist who specializes in nationalism/identity, social movements, and conflict in the Middle East and North Africa.

Joey and Joseph DuShane - Navanick, Twin brothers & Local Indigenous leaders of the Northern Ute Tribe share about their experiences in higher education, and experiences growing up as Indigenous here in Utah.

Muna Omar is a Jordanian born Palestinian and first-generation immigrant committed to building solidarity and fighting injustice and inequality in the US and around the world. She is a dedicated social justice and human rights advocate with nearly a decade of experience in community organizing in Salt Lake City. Muna holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from the American University's School of International Service, and specializes in nationalism/identity, social movements, and conflict in the Middle East and North Africa.
