Looking Past the Building: A Loud and Clear Youth Radio takeover that explores the juvenile justice system with young people currently in it. Plus, an interview with Spy Hop's Adam Sherlock about Sending Messages, a podcast program that works with incarcerated youth.

Loud & Clear Youth Radio Host Chioma Okoro called tonight's RadioACTive takeover "Juvenile System, Looking Past the Building," the latter being what she says happens when people pass by juvenile justice facilities in Utah.

Adam Sherlock, community programs mentor at Spy Hop Productions and executive producer of the Sending Messages podcast.

  • Sending Messages: The Podcast, featuring true stories, poetry, interviews and radio plays written, recorded and produced in a secure care youth corrections facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.

With Adam's assistance, Chioma also asks questions of three young people currently in detention at a Salt Lake City facility.
