- April 6-9: Lord of Misrule: Feast of Fools, an interactive Easter Passion Play debuting at the Sister Dottie S. Dixon Memorial Blackbox, Alliance Theater - Utah Arts Alliance, 602 E. 500 S., SLC. Event by RJ Walker: "A rare and special occasion such as this necessitates theatrical nonsense. This will be a play unlike any other you've seen. This is the biggest and baddest and blasphemest Lord of Misrule show yet (18+, as always). Masquerade/disguise encouraged. Show starts at 8pm, with a 3pm Matinee on Saturday. Lord of Misrule: Feast of Fools is also a U of U Undergraduate Research Project intended to show the social and financial efficacy of its experimental, mutual-aid based theatre model. There is a 'Menu of Foolishness' with 69 different changes that can be made to the show. Audience members can donate money between acts to the University of Utah Prison Education Project for The Lord of Misrule to make sure these changes happen on stage. The show is free to attend, no ticket required."
