RALLY UPDATE: Emma Addams of Mormon Women for Ethical Government says there is a quilt-in tomorrow in Provo. 

  • Feb. 8: Quilt the Constitution, noon at Provo Government Plaza, SW corner of University Ave. and Center St., Provo. Event by Mormon Women for Ethical Government: "Please join us for a “Quilt the Constitution” in downtown Provo. This is a peaceful and positive “quilt-in” to urge Senator Curtis and Senator Lee to stand up for constitutional government. Supplies will be provided. We will write our pleas on the squares and sew them into the quilt. By the end, we will have a physical product to deliver that will be hard to ignore. Please share with your friends!."

  • Feb. 19: Red Acre Center For Food and Agriculture Day On The Hill, 8:30a-4p in the Rotunda of the Utah State Capitol, 350 N. State St., SLC. "Meet with Utah State Representatives and Senators and Utah farms, ranches, and organizations that want to strengthen & build resilient local food communities in Utah. Everyone is WELCOME, but an RSVP is required for lunch. Are you a farmer, rancher, artisan producer, or organization looking to spread the word? Sign up for an information table. Mad respect to @chefshon of @segorestaurant and @central9thmarket for putting together the FOOD for Food and Agriculture Day on the Hill."

Aldine's Urban Farm Report on the start of seed swap season, featuring:

  • Rikki Longino of The Plot at The City Library, which has a seed catalog open year-round will have a swap from 10A-1P on March 15th

  • Anna Cash and Dave Wolfgram of the Ogden Seed Exchange, which will host its annual swap from 10A-1P on Feb. 22nd at Liberty Academy

  • Tracy Aviary lead horticulturist Parker Lloyd and his friend Zach Earl, who will host the Spring Seed and Scion Swap from 1-4PM on March 15th @ Tracy Aviary's Nature Center at Pia Okwai
