  • Tonight: Look for sparkly Vega in the early light, that’s right in the morning, overhead. In the evening, the Spring Arch of magical stars and orbs is in the high west after dusk, Jupiter still hangs below the Gemini twins, and Orion starts to go over the horizon. Plus, the Lyrid Meter shower will crest on April 21st, so we’ll need to get out of town to really see this going on after midnight up to dawn! Keep an eye out for Comet PanSTARRS, which may be visible in binoculars and possibly even with the naked eye during the early mornings this week.

Aldine's Urban Farm Report: Flower Power

June Hiatt of Little Gay Gardens shares how she preps her urban farm for the flower-growing season. "With the help of my loving partner, our beautiful community, and our two less helpful dogs, Kit and Rosie, we started this garden at our home in Millcreek, Utah. In 2024, we expanded to our quarter-acre farm in Rose Park, Utah."
