Oct. 29: Stop the Frankenstein Plan: Rally for Utah's Energy Future | 4-6:30 PM @ Utah Public Service Commission hearing, Heber Wells Building, 160 E 300 S, SLC. Sierra Club's Luis Miranda, Dr. Frankenstein and Mr. Monopoly explain. At 4 PM, gather in front of the Heber Wells Building and later in the hearing to call on the PSC to reject Rocky Mountain Power’s energy plan.
Oct. 31: Halloween Protest and Costume | 4:30 PM @ Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building, 125 S State St, SLC. Event by Crossroads Urban Center and Utahns Against Hunger: "If Congress does not pass a budget before midnight, on Halloween, 85,000 households in Utah will be at risk of missing their SNAP benefits for November. If this frightens you, then dress like a scary member of Congress and join us. If you don't have a costume, just show up as a concerned citizen. We will have a Zombie Face Paint station for those interested."
