No fooling, unions have the mic as the Roundtable Tuesday edition of RadioACTive talks with mail carriers, teachers, and organizers about collective bargaining, citizen initiatives and state laws. Reporter Holly Mullen on opportunities to make a difference in your own community -- and let D.C. be D.C. Plus, Prof. Amos Guiora on your chance to observe a counter terrorism class this week.

Prof. Amos Guiora invites the public to observe his simulation class, which has students role-play a counter-terrorism simulation, including a congressional grilling. You won't find details online, only here. The public is invited to observe the mock hearings on Thursday, April 3, from 8-9pm, and Friday, April 4, from 10-11am, 2:30-3:30pm, and 7-8pm in the SJ Quinney College of Law 6th Floor moot courtroom.

  • Amos N. Guiora directs the Bystander Initiative, S.J. Quinney College of Law, the University of Utah. He is a Distinguished Fellow at The Consortium for the Research and Study of Holocaust and the Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law, and a Distinguished Fellow and Counselor at the International Center for Conflict Resolution, Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh. He is the recipient of the University of Utah’s Distinguished Faculty Service award and was named by the SJ Quinney Class of 2024 as “Outstanding Professor.”

During the 2025 General Session of the Utah Legislature, state lawmakers passed H.B. 267 Public Sector Labor Union Amendments. Signed by Gov. Spencer Cox, the law "prohibits a public employer from recognizing a labor organization as a bargaining agent for public employees" — including fire and police. RadioACTive's Roundtable Tuesday talks about it and the Protect Utah Workers referendum push with:
