June is World Refugee Month. RadioACTive talks with Dr. Kamal Bewar about his journey from Kurdistan to SLC, where he's interim director of the STEM learning resource lab at Salt Lake Community College. Plus, Rep. We celebrate refugees' contributions and seek to build empathy, understanding for their plight, and their resilience to build a brighter future. We host this annual celebration with the help of our partners who provide resources and programs to help refugees succeed after being resettled in Utah.
