Ma Black of Nova FM and music from Victimas Del Dr Cerebro Show. "They are a Mexican alternative rock band that has marked the Latin American music scene with their innovative style and lyrics that resonate with crowds. Since their formation in 1989, they have released a series of successful albums, including 'Devórame' and 'Fantástico', which have enjoyed a positive reception. Known for their theatrical and energetic stage performances, they often incorporate elements of science fiction and horror into their shows, contributing to a truly unique concert atmosphere."

Spencer Gibbons, CEO of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation and a dairy farmer, on quarantine measures at 8 dairy farms in Cache Valley since avian influenza was confirmed earlier this week. 

  • Utah Department of Agriculture (UDAF) Confirms Avian Influenza in Utah Dairies. Officials with UDAF confirmed highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in 8 commercial dairy facilities in Cache County. Mandatory surveillance of HPAI was put into effect for all dairies in Cache County on October 23, 2024. Positive dairies have been placed under a quarantine; no movement of lactating cattle is permitted on or off affected facilities with the exception of cattle going direct to slaughter. Positive dairies have also been asked to implement biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of virus off of the dairy.

  • Nov. 20-22:  at Utah Valley Convention Center, 55 N. Freedom Blvd., Provo. Event by Utah Farm Bureau Federation: "Join us for the 108th Utah Farm Bureau Annual Convention! There will be great speakers, breakout sessions and more to bring Farm Bureau members from across the state.   • Nov. 15: Last day to donate to the 12th annual Warm Bodies, Warm Souls clothing drive. "Join Bank of Utah, Arctic Circle, and Red Hanger in one of the largest warm clothing drives in the state. Donations of gently used or new warm clothing will be sent to 15 Utah charitable organizations, spanning from Tremonton to St. George — including Vernal, the newest area served by Bank of Utah. Remember, when you donate you can receive a free double cheeseburger voucher from Arctic Circle or a free shirt cleaning from Red Hanger. If you’re not ready to part with your winter attire just yet, no worries, we also have an online donation form for anyone who would prefer a cash donation. Don’t delay, find the drop-off station nearest to you and drop off your warm clothing today!"   • Nov. 9: Native Seed Swap, 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Tracy Aviary Nature Center at Pia Okwai, 3310 S. 1000 W., South Salt Lake. "Join our horticulture team and local plant enthusiasts to learn about gardening with common plants native to Utah. Staff will be handing out packets of free seeds with advice on incorporating these plants into your garden. Seeds are limited, and guests are encouraged to bring their own seeds to trade. Casual workshops on collecting, cleaning, and sowing your seeds will be offered at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30. Email parkerl@tracyaviary.org for seed lists and registration."
