  • Mar 28: No Kings Rally SLC | 2:00 PM @ Washington Square Park (WSP), 451 S State St, SLC.At 2:30 PM, folks will start the march to the Utah State Capitol, where the rally will resume by 3:30 PM. Organizers Mitch and Angel Vice share more details.
  • Mar 28-29: Grid Zine Fest | 12-5 PM each day at Church & State, 370 S 300 E, SLC. RadioACTive talks with organizers Ricky Vigil and Sam Wilson, who are also some of the 100 artists and zinemakers who will take part in this two-day event that is free to the community. 

Rocky Mountain Community Radio

  • The Moab Police Department is investigating two recent scams that have cost local victims more than $100,000. In one case, a business lost roughly a third of its cash reserves. Social Security Insecurity

  • Last Saturday, D-1 Candidate Ben McAdams hosted the former Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, Governor Martin O’Malley, for a Social Security discussion at the Sorenson Unity Center in SLC. They stopped by KRCL to talk with Lara about recent federal cuts to the SSA, their devastating impacts on older Americans, and to outline a plan to protect and strengthen the program.
