RadioACTive broadcasts live to toast 45 Years with beer collab and liquor law talk

Tonight's show (broadcast live from Fisher Brewing Co.) features the following people, organizations and/or events. Check them out and get plugged into your community! 

  • Colby Frazier and Tim Dwyer of Fisher Brewing Co., the folks who brewed KRCL's Anniversary Ale, "a delightful dry-hopped blonde ale. This delicate and light-bodied beer is highlighted by the German Saphir Hops, giving the beer a grassy, mildly herbal and a hint of citrus aroma. Ironically, in marriage, the 45th wedding anniversary is known as the 'Sapphire Anniversary,' so this ended up being the perfect hop to celebrate KRCLs connection to the community." 

  • Pete Saltas of City Weekly, which has been hosting the Utah Beer Festival for 14 years—part of the alt-weekly's 40-year quest to legalize adulthood in Utah

  • Crystal Young of Safer Utah, a new initiative to lobby for "common-sense alcohol regulation by and for responsible locals"

  • Afternoon Delight host Courtney Blair, who designed the can art

  • Not a Side Show host, and official taster, Circus Brown

  • Chris Rohrer, co-lead of KRCL's History project and official taster

  • KRCL characters Gavin Dahl (Bubbling Up broadcasts live from 7-10PM), Eugenie from Middays and Women Who Rock, and Connor Estes of RadioACTive (also an official taster)

This delicious collaboration and launch is part of KRCL’s ongoing series of events leading up to the station’s official anniversary on December 3, when Listeners Community Radio of Utah - KRCL turns 45.
