  • June 8: , 11a-2p at Chase Home Museum in Liberty Park, SLC. Event by NCECA: "Come Clay With Us is an event where you can experience working with clay and learn about people and places involved with ceramic art creation in Salt Lake City. Try the potter's wheel, make a clay boat, or carve your name into a giant pot. If making isn’t your thing, you can watch creative artists and potters make all kinds of cool things with one of our most enduring and commonly available art materials. All ages are welcome to get their hands in clay and participate. Salt Lake City, Utah, will host the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts 59th annual conference, Formation, from March 26-29, 2025. Thousands of ceramic artists, students, teachers, and collectors from throughout the community, the US, and around the world will all contribute to this special event. Come Clay with Us will offer opportunities to discover where people are creating with clay in and around Salt Lake City and take part in a clay installation to be displayed during the NCECA conference next year.
