HEAL Utah to discuss local tribal nations' opposition to the White Mesa Uranium Mill Operations. Carmen Valdez is a senior policy associate for the Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah or HEAL Utah where she works on radioactive and toxic issues affecting our state. HEAL has been working with communities like the White Mesa Concerned Community to protect our state’s public health from radioactive and toxic threats to our environment.
