Crate Digging with Pete Lethenstrom, who donated his late-brother Jim's record collection to KRCL's annual record sale. It's an incredible collection with blues and classic rock albums lovingly cared for. Val MC did some of her own crate digging and shared her picks, too.

  • Aug. 22: KRCL Record & CD Sale 2024, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at 535 W. 300 N., SLC. "Attention music lovers! The annual KRCL Record and CD Sale is back. This year, there's more vinyl than ever with a healthy dose of CDs and cassettes (they are back, you know). Join us at the KRCL studios for a great night of crate digging and help power your nonprofit community radio station 90.9fm KRCL."

RadioACTive's Summer Intern has been looking into the world of holistic health and wellness treatments in Utah. Guests include:

  • Sept. 6-8: Utah Fungi Festival @ Clubhouse on South Temple, 850 E. South Temple St., SLC. "Utah's first mushroom festival is back! Join industry-leading educators, mental health practitioners, and activists to discuss the present and future of psychedelic medicines, plus a screening that explores their links to Utah's past. Kick off Day 1 with a psychedelic medicine panel, film screening, and more. Day 2 is full of engaging lectures and workshops with top experts and activists.
