Hispanic Heritage Month runs Sept. 15-Oct. 15, and we have a variety of guests to celebrate tonight.

Arlene Anderson and Reba Nissen of OFOAM - Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music with an invite to their annual Dia de los Muertos party next month. 

  • Oct. 12: Dia de los Muertos en Ogden, 12:00-8:00 p.m. at Ogden Amphitheater, 343 E. 25th St., Ogden. "Join us for Dia de los Muertos en Ogden, a vibrant celebration that honors our Latino culture and community inclusivity through an array of events and activities. Delight in our Main Community Altar and Pet Altar with The Golden Bark Foundation, and be moved by live performances from Las Cafeteras, Mariachi Fuego, Ballet Folklorico Eck, and Weber State Ballet Folklorico. Marvel at the Ogden School District juried student art show, showcasing the creativity of our youth, and explore the Mercadito Popup Market with La Buena Vida Utah. Enjoy the unique Car Show & Altars with the Midnight Runners, and savor delicious offerings from our food trucks. This event is a beautiful fusion of visual and performing arts, community spirit, and youth outreach, making it a true celebration of life and culture." RadioACTive Pop! will be exploring Hispanic food traditions of all kinds this month. Starting tonight with Rico Brand's Jorge Fiero. He’s told his story many times on RadioACTive, but tonight we’re going to talk about the spicy life—SALSA! How hot can it get?
