RadioACTive's Punk Rock Farmer Friday @ 6 celebrates the season's bounty and gets you ready for Day in the Park with music from bands that will be on stage Saturday at the International Peace Gardens.

Homegrown music tonight from the RadioACTive Archives, highlighting bands set to play Day in the Park tomorrow:

#ManyCulturesOneSky with SkyWatcher Leo T, a RadioACTive volunteer who shares his love of the night sky, cultural tales of the constellations, and more during #PunkRockFarmerFridays. Tonight, a look at the morning sky transitioning from Jupiter's probe of the Galilean moons to our oceans, previously undiscovered life here, and a Norse sea myth.

Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park is getting ready to unveil a statue of Andy the Condor this weekend. Plus, you can help migrating birds by turning off your outdoor lights from 11p-6a through October. RadioACTive finds out more with the Aviary's Lora Eschtruth.

Aldine's Urban Farm Report features Clint Nash, Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers president. What is UGPG? A group of people who love giant pumpkins, pumpkin growers, and would like to know how to grow them.

  • Sept. 26: , 5:30-9:00 p.m. at Kuwahara's Pumpkin Patch, 12200 S. 700 W., Draper. "This year, we’re pulling out all the stops to create a fun-filled, family-friendly event that’s perfect for all ages. Enjoy thrilling live performances including fire dancing, energetic dance routines, and live music that will keep you entertained throughout the night. Bring your family, friends, and a big bag for candy as you dive into a world of festive fun and eerie excitement."

  • Sept. 28: , 11a-7p at The Center Street Historic District, Logan. Event by Anderson's Seed & Garden: "Join us on Historic Center Street here in Logan, Utah, as we gather to celebrate the Second Annual Center Street Giant Pumpkin Festival. This will be an ALL-DAY FALL CELEBRATION. Watch Center Street Logan come to life with events going on all day. We will have live music, Food, art, children's activities, and lots of GIANT Pumpkins on display as they are fighting for the 'Center Street Giant' title. Did we mention anything that involves pumpkins we will have?"

  • Oct. 5: , 12:00-6:00 p.m. at The Gateway, 400 W. 200 S., SLC. Event by Giant Pumpkinpalooza and Zombie Walk, Fear Factory SLC: "Come join us at The Gateway for a spooktacular event filled with giant pumpkins and creepy zombies. Get ready for a day of fun with pumpkin carving contests, pumpkin-themed treats, and a thrilling zombie walk through the streets. Whether you're a pumpkin enthusiast or a zombie fan, there's something for everyone at this event. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the magic of fall in Salt Lake City!"
