"This bill threatens the survival of rural and Tribal stations and jeopardizes the essential services all stations provide to communities nationwide. The amended bill is now back in the House for final consideration before the July 18 1:00 AM MT deadline."

Fashion Forward to Honor Afa Ah Loo's Legacy

Creative Pacific's Pasifika Fashion Week marches on in honor of co-founder, Afa Ah Loo, celebrating culture, creativity, and his lasting legacy. On June 15, Ah Loo, a Project Runway alum, was shot and killed as an innocent bystander at the SLC No Kings! Rally leaving behind his wife and three. Benjamin Powell and Analei Samasei’a of Creative Pacific Foundation, which will honor Afa's memory as it presents Creative Pacific Week 2025

4th Annual Cookout is Back

OurSundays is back to share about The 4th Annual Cookout featuring musical guest, Yung Senju. Domeda Duncan and Mark Giles stop by to share more about soul food, great people, and some groovy music.

New Film Festival in Town

There is a new kid in town and coming in hot as "Soldiers of Cinema", Trevor Allen founder of Orem Film Festival creates festival to support independent filmmakers and storytelling. "Created for emerging filmmakers, college students, and film enthusiasts alike, OFF is where Utah's creative community connects, collaborates, and celebrates the art of visual storytelling. Each screening represents our commitment to nurturing local talent and building a vibrant film culture in Utah Valley."

  • DEADLINE: Thursday, July 24 is the deadline submission for film entries: Films must not exceed 40 minutes in length. While submissions under 20 minutes are preferred, all works within this limit will be considered.

  • EVENTWednesday, September 24 is the 2025 Orem Film Festival will showcase 10 short films at Megaplex’s Geneva location. This is a unique opportunity for filmmakers to gain exposure, engage with fellow creators, and have their work screened in a high-quality theatrical setting.
