Black Physicians of Utah throws the annual Family Fitness Fair, Rose Park Providers Coalition hosts Wellness Without Borders, and Utah Nonprofits Association empowers nearly 12,000+ nonprofits getting up to good trouble.

Black Physicians of Utah (BPOU) throws the annual Family Fitness Fair. RadioACTive gets a preview from Pediatric resident Dr. Eddie Holloway and Social Worker Stormey Nielsen of BPOU.

  • Oct. 12: , 9:00 a.m. at Valley Regional Park, 2700 W. 5400 S., Taylorsville. Event by Black Physicians of Utah: "We at the Black Physicians of Utah are focused on improving the health of the Black and URM Communities. We had a very successful Family Fitness Day last year with over 200 runners and participants enjoying the beautiful weather at Valley Regional Park. We have heard your calls and now we will have our 3rd Annual Outdoor Fitness Day. This year we have decided to add a 10K distance. It will be filled with prize giveaways, DJ Afrolicious, a photo booth, massage chairs, a bounce house, and food for all participants.

Award Ceremony, raffle, lunch and food demonstration begins at 10:30 a.m. Participating Vendors and Fitness Specialists: Food Justice Coalition (Health Options), Nutrition Classes & Gift Certificates, and Bouncin Bins Bouncy House and Games for kids."

Event by: Rose Park Providers Coalition: "Last year’s fair was a huge success, serving over 250 individuals with free health screenings, vaccinations, health education, and various wellness resources."
