Summit Rising, Song Summit Foundation’s emerging artist program, empowers the next generation of musicians by providing access to mentorship, career development, performance opportunities, and wellness resources. The opportunity offers early-career artists from teens through their twenties a unique, immersive experience for local, national, and international artists. Bob Violano, stops by and shares how families and their students can prep mind, heart and calendar for back to school.
Teacher Bob, is a Utah Teacher Fellow, starting his 2nd year as an instructional coach at Mount Jordan Middle school after serving the Midvale community for 10 years as an 8th grade science teacher. He's passionate about helping others grow and spending as much time as possible outside.
Local hiking expert Ashley Brown, author of Urban Trails: Salt Lake City, is talking with Selam Dickerson & Rebekah Rawlings of Let's Go Outside SLC and their Annual Camping in Color event.
