Thursday, May 21: RadioACTive Workshop goes all in for bird lovers with Utah’s own Tracy Aviary, the oldest aviary in the United States. The nonprofit’s summer season is heating up—from the annual Ready to Hatch garden party at Liberty Park to casual, guided bird walks at the Nature Center at Pia Okwai. Plus, Dump Data Centers Rally, Gold Star Family Memorial Day Red Cross Blood Drive, and Gelli Haha.

  • May 22: Gold Star Family Memorial Day Red Cross Blood Drive | 12-6 PM at the LDS South Ogden Stake, 4075 Orchard Ave, South Ogden. American Red Cross Regional CEO Heidi Ruster talks about the need for donors for this event and year-round.

RAW talks with her about her research and something she's calling the "bottleneck hostage toll theory."

  • June 2: Let's Go Botanizing Together @ Nature Center at Pia Okwai, 3310 S 1000 W, SoSaLa. Every 2nd Sunday of June, July and Aug to explore plants in the Wasatch with other LGBTQIA+ folx and allies.
