April 18: Day 4 (and last day) of a RadioACTive Takeover by Stories From the Other Side, a collaboration between rising journalists from the University of Utah, graduates of The Other Side Academy (TOSA), Amplify Utah, and KRCL's RadioACTive.

In addition to our takeover story tonight, you also hear from Stephanie García and Peter Hay, co-founders and directors of PROArtes México. Based in SLC and Mexico, the group supports the creation/promotion of exemplary Mexican contemporary art and fosters the bilateral exchange of art/artists between the USA and Mexico.

  • April 19: PROArtes México’s book launch of Aquí&Allá, Conversations with Creators from México and the USA, 7:00 p.m. at Mestizo Institute of Culture and Art (@mestizoarts_slc), 95 S. Rio Grande St., SLC. "This two-volume set contains interviews with 20 internationally recognized artists. Its roots are in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic as a podcast series and has now taken publication form thanks to funding from the Mexican Government’s ‘Fomento a Proyectos y Coinversiones Culturales’ grant. Stephanie García (MEX) and Peter Hay (USA), co-directors of PROArtes México will present with contributors about the importance of the project and their participation."
