Transgender Awareness Month history with Dominque Storni, genderevolution gets ready to 'transcend,' musician Marina Marqueza, and unsafeU

Tonight’s lineup:

Devon Cantwell of unsafeU on today #MarchForSafety and a petition demanding a safe University of Utah campus for all students.

Music from MarinaMarqueza, a non-binary Japanese-Venezuelan singer, producer, and visual artist based in Salt Lake City. She’ll perform at genderevolution in November.

The genderevolution team is getting ready to celebrate our trans, non-binary and gender creative community for the 11th year in a row. Panel discussion, featuring Nick Arteaga, Joni Weiss, Marqueza, and Rachel Edwards.

  • Nov. 9: genderevolution 2019: Transcend, 8a-6p at Horizonte Instruction and Training Center, 1234 Main St., SLC. Pre-registration: $30, Students/Seniors: $15. Scholarships available, no one is turned away. Opening keynote speaker will be Sean Saifa Wall, an intersex activist, visual artist and public researcher.
