Spirit of Polynesia headed from St. George to SLC this weekend. Plus, Vida, Muerte, Justicia | Life, Death, Justice Latin American and Latinx Art for the 21st Century -- opening October 1 at Ogden Contemporary Arts and Weber State University.

April Te'o Keil of St. George-based Siva Pasefika, which brings its Spirit of Polynesia show to the new Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center, 2525 Taylorsville Rd., Taylorsville, this Friday and Saturday. Click here for tickets.

  • Founded in 2006 and located in Southern Utah, Siva Pasefika invites you to experience the drumbeats of Tahiti, the energetic Siva of Samoa, the graceful Hula of Hawaii, the infamous Haka of New Zealand and much more."

Jorge Rojas and Maria del MarGonzález-González, co-curators of a new exhibition of 24 Latin American and Latinx contemporary artists whose work responds to relevant themes in relation to social and racial justice.
