  • Oct. 25: Apple Crunch Day. Each October, schools, preschools, workplaces, and individuals across Utah celebrate National Farm to School Month by crunching into Utah-grown apples. This is a great intro to farm to school if you're just getting started. And if you're an old pro, it's a great way to show off all that you can do. Learn more about the event and register here. Schools that participate in the National School Lunch Program are able to count local apples purchased for the event towards their enhanced local reimbursement.

    • The Apple Crunch is always held the last Wednesday in October. If that day doesn't work for you, just choose another day in October to celebrate. Our goal this year is to have 200,000 participants, we hope you're among them!

    • Download the Crunch Guide here. This guide contains all the information you need to host a successful Apple Crunch.
