Music Meets Activism with Britt Loose of Fight Against Domestic Violence and Kimmi Wolf of the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition.

  • Fight Against Domestic Violence is a non-profit that fundraises for domestic violence service providers and survivors.

  • Utah Domestic Violence Coalition is a nonprofit working to end domestic violence in Utah through advocacy, education, collaboration, and leadership. UDVC provides free and confidential support for victims and survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence.

KRCL roving correspondent Tamrika Khvtisiashvili spoke with the Utah Ukrainian Association's Anya Baryshok and Yulia Holko. From Dnipro and Lviv, respectively, Baryshok and Holk now call Utah home. Anya serves as UUA's president, Yulia as vice president.

  • Aug. 26: Ukrainian Independence Day Celebration, 5:30 p.m. at Murray Park Pavilion #2. Event by Utah Ukrainian Association: "Join us in celebrating the Independence Day of Ukraine. Try delicious food and enjoy live music. This is a social event for Ukrainians and all the wonderful Utah community members who have shown such tremendous support of Ukraine in its fight for freedom."
