Punk Rock Farmer Friday, with more true tales of the agrihood from Utah Valley Permaculture Classroom Gardens and Greenhouse, the Biodynamic Cowboy, and Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers. Plus, fresh and homegrown music from Endless Struggle and the folks at Grid City Music Fest.

  • Aug. 25-26: Grid City Music Fest. "7 stages, 30 local bands, local vendors, artists, restaurants, and a Fund Bus to link it all together. Thanks to our friends at the South Salt Lake Arts Council, you will travel in style all day long on an air-conditioned FREE FUN BUS throughout our Creative Industries Zone. Music will be dispersed throughout 'The Zone' on multiple stages Friday night and all-day Saturday. Each night will culminate in the ultimate after-party at the Commonwealth Room for Food, Games, Vendors, and lots of Dancing." For tickets and info, click here
Chef Bleu Adams & Chef Adrian Lipscombe of the 3 Sisters Gathering happening this Sunday at the Clubhouse on South Temple. "Join us in celebration of the power of food + community. Delicious bites, beverages, and a panel discussion. This is a fundraiser event in support of Indigehub, an incredible organization dedicated to promoting food justice in Indigenous communities and communities of color." Click here for tickets

Denise Devynck of Utah Valley Permaculture Classroom Gardens & Greenhouse. Tickets are still available for her 9th Annual Tour & Taste Food Forest Open House tomorrow from 11a-6p at 851 E. Highcountry Dr., Orem. 

Clint Nash of the Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers, which will host several events this year:

  • Sept. 23: The Center Street Giant Pumpkin Festival, Center Street in Logan. Weigh-off at 12 p.m., but there's a farmers market all day. 

  • Oct. 7: Gateway's Giant Pumpkin Palooza

  • Oct. 14: Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta at Daybreak in South Jordan

  • Oct. 18: Hee Haw Farms Giant Pumpkin Drop in Pleasant Grove
